Frequently asked questions about Mateprofe online tutoring
Answers before you get started.
How do lessons work?
Sessions are live and one-on-one. Send your course, grade, materials, and topics before scheduling.
Which subjects are available?
Math, algebra, calculus, physics, chemistry, and statistics, depending on the topic and tutor availability.
Do you work with students in Houston, Dallas, and Miami?
Yes, online. Students in other US cities can also ask about time-zone and tutor availability.
Are English-speaking tutors available?
The site is available in English, but we confirm tutor availability in that language before arranging a lesson.
Who will teach my lesson?
Tell us your subject, course, and schedule. Before arranging a session, ask who the proposed tutor is, about their experience with that topic, and how they teach.
Do your program levels match US grades?
They are not official equivalents. We review the actual course, materials, and starting point of each student.
Have another question?
Share your subject, course, and schedule. We confirm availability and terms before arranging your lesson.
